Gluten Refusers: Beyond Bread Tasting Evening

If the main question running through your head besides “how many episodes of The Handmaid’s Tale are there?” is also, “where’s the gluten free at?” then you might be interested in this event coming up.
Founder of Beyond Bread gluten free bakery, Elena Golubovich has invited us all round for an evening of drinks, talks and tastings on Upper Street.
Although Elena doesn’t suffer from coeliacs disease herself, she understands the bloaty stomach clutching pain that comes from devouring a baguette in defiance of a gluten intolerance.
Why, bakery gods, whyyy?
Beyond Bread opened in January 2015 in Fitzrovia to wheat defying tumultuous applause before she opened the second branch in Islington, 2016.
A range of her products are also now available at Whole Foods Market. Hold my sandwich, I’m off to stock up.
On the 19th July you can expect a welcome drink (alcoholic or not so) before Elena’s presentation on why she decided to launch the glorious gluten free haven in the first place.
Then get ready for some tips on how to successfully bake without gluten before question time kicks off.
Having worked up an appetite you can enjoy a generous tasting dinner: a sharing platter, pizza sample and a slider with wine and desert available to purchase separately.
