These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the North Four website (“the Site”), your legal rights and obligations and your relationship with us. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Site as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not register for or use the Site. In these Terms and Conditions “we “, “us” and “our” means The Barefaced Movement Ltd and “you” means the individual who is using the Site.



1.1. This Site is owned and operated by The Barefaced Movement Ltd (Registered in England number 07500563) whose registered offices are at 85 Stroud Green Road, London, N4 3EG.
1.2. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Site.
1.3. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you should not use the Site.
1.4. We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the Site by you will constitute your acceptance of any changes or revisions to the Terms and Conditions, so it is wise to check this page regularly. If you do not wish to accept the new Terms and Conditions you should not continue to use the Site.



2.1. Access to the Site is free of charge You may retrieve and display content from this Site on a computer screen, print individual pages on paper (but not photocopy them) and store such pages in electronic form on disk (but not on any server or other storage device connected to a network) for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not in any way make commercial or other unauthorised use, by publication, re-transmission, distribution, performance, caching or otherwise, of material obtained through the Site.
2.2. You are responsible for ensuring that any material you provide to the Site, including but not limited to text, photographs and sound, does not violate the copyright, trademark, trade secret or any other personal or proprietary rights of any third party.
2.3. You agree not to disrupt, modify or interfere with the Site or its associated software, hardware and servers in any way, and you agree not to impede or interfere with others’ use of the Site. You further agree not to alter or tamper with any information or materials on, or associated with, the Site.
2.4. You acknowledge that The Barefaced Movement has not reviewed and does not endorse the content of all sites linked to from the Site and is not responsible for the content or actions of any other sites linked to from the Site. Linking to any other service or site from this Site is at your sole risk.
2.5. The services provided by the Site do not include the provision of computer or other necessary equipment to access the Site. To use the Site you will require Internet connectivity and appropriate telecommunications links. We shall not be liable for any telephone or other costs that you may incur.
2.6. We do not guarantee that our Site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. Access to our site is permitted on a temporary basis. We may suspend, withdraw, discontinue or change all or any part of our site without notice. We will not be liable to you if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period.
2.7. Use of the site is voluntary. From time to time, our Site may publish articles or features, which some site visitors may find offensive. By accessing our Site you accept the risk of being offended. We do not intend to offend and suggest that Site visitors who find the tone or content of the Site offensive, no longer visit the Site. No responsibility is taken for any offense caused.



3.1. The Barefaced Movement Ltd are the owner or licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Site, including copyrights, trade marks and design rights, whether registered or unregistered.
3.2. The Barefaced Movement grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Site content solely for personal use relating to your use of the Site. Except as expressly set out herein, neither you nor anyone acting on your behalf acquires any intellectual property rights relating to any Site content. Any rights not expressly granted within these Terms and Conditions are reserved.
3.3. By sharing any contribution(s) with us (including but not limited to data, text, photo, message, posting, image, logo, attachment, hyperlink and all other content (collectively “Contribution(s)”) to the Site, you agree and grant The Barefaced Movement and its sub-licensees, free of charge permission, to use the Contribution(s) at The Barefaced Movements sole discretion (including modifying and adapting it for operational and editorial reasons) in connection with the operation of the Site and our business. The licence extends to copying, distributing, broadcasting or otherwise transmitting, adapting or editing the Contribution(s) whether by electronic, print or any other form of media.
3.4. You agree and confirm that any Contribution(s) you provide or upload is original to you and does not infringe UK laws, copyright or other rights of any other person, or that you have the consents necessary to provide the Contribution(s) to The Barefaced Movement.
3.5. You acknowledge that The Barefaced Movement does not endorse the accuracy, integrity, copyright, compliance, legality, quality or decency of any Contribution(s). Users may respond to or comment upon Contribution(s), such comments do not necessarily represent the views or opinions of The Barefaced Movement.
3.6. The Barefaced Movement respects the intellectual property of others, and we ask our users to do the same. The Barefaced Movement may, in appropriate circumstances and at its discretion, terminate the access of subscribers and contributors who infringe the copyright rights of The Barefaced Movement and of others.
3.7. You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our site for your personal use and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to content posted on our site.
3.8. You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text. Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of content on our site must always be acknowledged. You must not use any part of the content on our site for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licensors.
3.9. If you print off, copy or download any part of our site in breach of these terms of use, your right to use our site will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.
3.10. If you believe that your work has been copied and is accessible on any The Barefaced Movement Site in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, or that the Site contains links or other references to another online location that contains material or activity that infringes your copyright, please follow our complaints procedure, as set out below.
3.11. If you wish to make a formal complaint about any of the editorial content on either the web or print version of North Four, please email info@barefaced.co or write to The Creative Director, The Barefaced Movement Ltd, Davies & Davies Building, 85 Stroud Green Road, London, N4 3EG. Please explain your concern and send either a copy of the material you are complaining about, a link to the web page or the name of the publication with the issue and page number.



4.1. We assert that the North Four brand and related trade marks used on the Site are the property of The Barefaced Movement Ltd and may be registered in certain jurisdictions. All other trademarks used on these Sites are the property of their respective owners.



5.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all prize promotions including free draws, prize competitions and instant win offers.
5.2. From time to time The Barefaced Movement will run competitions, free prize draws and promotions (“Competition(s)”) on this website. Competitions may be subject to additional Terms and Conditions that will be made available at the time.
5.3. No purchase is necessary to enter the Competition.
5.4. By entering the Competition you agree to the Terms and Conditions. In addition you agree that he Barefaced Movement may pass your personal information to the promoters of a Competition (where it is not The Barefaced Movement) and their data processors. However, we always demand that any such parties adhere to the same security procedures that we follow ourselves.
5.5. It is assumed that by entering Competitions which, if won, could result in time off work, your employer has agreed to allow you time off. When dates are specified they cannot be altered and by entering date-related Competitions The Barefaced Movement or the third party are not liable in any way to any winner who cannot attend.
5.6. Competitions are not open to any employees of The Barefaced Movement, the promoter or their immediate families, a Competition promoter’s advertising agency and sales promotion consultancy, or anyone else connected with the creation, promotion or administration of the Competition.
5.7. Entries in the incorrect format will not be considered.
5.8. Once entered, entries cannot be returned / withdrawn.
5.9. Unless otherwise stated only one Competition entry, fulfilling the eligibility requirements above, will be accepted per person. Spammers will be disqualified.
5.10. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions and to have agreed to be bound by them.
5.11. Once selected, only the winner(s) will be contacted personally by email using the contact details provided upon entry.
5.12. Winners will be notified on the day that the winner is selected. Winners will have 5 (five) working days to respond in full or another winner will be selected.
5.13. The Barefaced Movement’s decision is final in every situation, including any not covered above and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of the validity of any such decision.
5.14. The Barefaced Movement shall be permitted to exclude or disqualify any entrant at any time at its sole discretion.
5.15. The Barefaced Movement reserves the right to exclude late, incomplete or multiple registrations, or registrations made by third parties or agents.
5.16. The Barefaced Movement does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
5.17. The name of the winner(s) will be made available to any person by sending a stamped self addressed envelope to The Barefaced Movement Ltd, 85 Stroud Green Road, London, N4 3EG, indicating the name of the Competition.
5.18. Entry to the Competition and acceptance of the prize constitutes permission to use any entrant’s name, image and any competition entry photograph, for promotional and/or editorial purposes in any format in print and non-print media without additional consultation.
5.19 Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred although The Barefaced Movement reserve the right to change the prize in the event of unforeseen circumstances. There will be no cash alternative.
5.20 The Barefaced Movement reserves the right to (i) cancel and/or withdraw this Competition and/or (ii) amend these Terms and Conditions, at any time without notice.
5.21 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will The Barefaced Movement be liable, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for any loss, damage or injury arising under or in connection with this Competition.
5.22 Where The Barefaced Movement runs a competition with a promoter such that the promoter is responsible for the selection and/or the provision of prizes then The Barefaced Movement shall not be responsible for or have any liability for the provision of such prizes.
5.23 These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law, and entrants agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts in relation to all matters arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.



6.1. From time to time, The Barefaced Movement (or selected third parties) may include competitions, promotions or other offers on the Site. Each such offer shall be subject to its own express terms and may not be available in all jurisdictions.
6.2. The Site may contain sponsored posts or advertising, The Barefaced Movement complies with the advertising code of practice and sponsored posts, advertising or advertorial content will be clearly marked as such.



7.1. The Barefaced Movement does not necessarily endorse, support, sanction, encourage, verify or agree with the comments, opinions or statements posted by users across any of the operators social media pages or elsewhere on the Site. Any information or material placed online by users, including advice and opinions, is the view and responsibility of those users and does not necessarily represent the view of The Barefaced Movement.



8.1. You agree that The Barefaced Movement is not responsible, and shall have no liability to you, with respect to any information or materials posted by others, including defamatory, offensive or illicit material.



9.1. You will indemnify The Barefaced Movement and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees, advertisers, partners, agents and representatives against all losses, liabilities, costs and expenses reasonably suffered or incurred by us, all damages awarded against us under any judgement by a court of competent jurisdiction and all settlement sums paid by us as a result of any settlement agreed by us arising out of or in connection with:
9.1.1 Any claim by any third party that the use of the Site by you is defamatory, offensive or abusive, or of an obscene or pornographic nature, or is illegal or constitutes a breach of any applicable law, regulation or code of practice;
9.1.2Any claim by any third party that the use of the Site by you infringes that third party’s copyright or other intellectual property rights of whatever nature; and
9.1.3 Any fines or penalties imposed by any regulatory, advertising or trading body or authority in connection with the use of the Site by you.



10.1. We reserve the right, but undertake no duty, to review, edit, move or delete any material posted by users across the operator’s social media pages or elsewhere on the Site, in its sole discretion and without notice.



11.1. You understand and agree that you are using the Site at your own risk. the Site is provided “as is,” and to the extent permitted by applicable law. The Barefaced Movement and its affiliates expressly disclaim any and all warranties, express and implied, including but not limited to any warranties of accuracy, reliability, title, merchantability, non-infringement, fitness for a particular purpose or any other warranty, condition, guarantee or representation, whether oral, in writing or in electronic form, including but not limited to the accuracy or completeness of any information contained therein or provided by the Site.
11.2. The Barefaced Movement and its affiliates make no warranty, implied or explicit, that any part of the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, virus-free, timely, secure, accurate, reliable of any quality, nor that the content is safe in any manner for download. You understand and agree that neither The Barefaced Movement nor its affiliates nor any participant in the Site provides professional advice of any kind and that use of such advice or any other information is solely at your own risk and without our liability of any kind.
11.3. Save for the provisions of the following clause The Barefaced Movement and its affiliates shall not be liable to you or any third parties for any direct, indirect, special, consequential or punitive damages allegedly sustained arising out of your access to or inability to access the Site, including for viruses alleged to have been obtained from the Site, your use of or reliance on the Site or any of the information or materials available on the Site, regardless of the type of claim or the nature of the cause of action, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
11.4. The Barefaced Movement’s liability will not be limited in the case of death or personal injury directly caused by The Barefaced Movement’s negligence.



12.1. The information that you provide about yourself to The Barefaced Movement will only be used by The Barefaced Movement in accordance with the below terms and does not apply to third party sites.
12.2. The Barefaced Movement may from time-to-time invite you to provide personal information in order to provide you with services (such as email newsletters and competitions.) In order to deliver such services, The Barefaced Movement will need to process and store your personal information and may need to transfer it to affiliates and service providers for processing. In the event that you submit personal information to us through the Site, you represent and warrant that you have the authority and consent to the collection, processing, transmission, use, communication and disclosure of such information by us in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. By submitting your personal information, you consent to such processing and transfers in connection with offers or services and for any other purposes to which you consent at the time you provide the information. The Barefaced Movement will only use your personal information for purposes for which you have consented and will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes without such consent.
12.3. In operating the Site it may become necessary to transfer data that we collect from you to locations outside of the European Union for processing and storing. By providing your personal data to us, you agree to this transfer, storing and processing. We do our utmost to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to make sure that your data is stored securely. Unfortunately the sending of information via the internet is not totally secure and on occasion such information can be intercepted. We cannot guarantee the security of data that you choose to send us electronically, sending such information is entirely at your own risk.
12.4. If you have any queries about The Barefaced Movement’s privacy policy or any queries about the protection of personal information The Barefaced Movement holds about you, please write to: The Barefaced Movement Ltd, 85 Stroud Green Road, London, N4 3EG. We are entitled by law to charge a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you. We are also legally obliged to request you to provide us with identification so that we can be certain that you are entitled to receive the requested data.
12.5. Data Protection: The Barefaced Movement and our sponsors and promoters may use your details to let you know about other products and services which we think would be of interest to you. Occasionally, we may also pass your details to selected companies. This will only be done with your permission so we advise you to check the tick boxes on the relevant form carefully.
12.6. Third Parties: The Site may include links to services supplied by or operated by third parties including advertisers and other content providers. We do not control such linked services, and are not responsible for their content, functionality or legality. Those third parties may collect data or solicit personal information from you; we are not responsible for the collection, use or disclosure of any information those services may collect. Linking to any other service or website from this Site is at your own risk. The Site may also include certain features, functionality, and/or content that may be hosted, administered, supplied by or operated by third party service providers, such as social, community and public discussion areas, photo and video galleries, blogs, auctions, shopping, payment processing. 12.4. Cookies: The Site is built using WordPress and only uses non-tracking cookies. However, to help us create a better experience for Site visitors Google Analytics are used to track behaviour. Google Analytics collect no personal data and is used primarily to see which pages are the most popular and how people are finding us. The Site may contain third party advertising and analytics cookies, which are placed by or on behalf of independent advertisers who are advertising on the Site. These cookies may be placed within the advertisement and elsewhere on the Site. They are anonymous and cannot identify individuals. They are used for statistical analysis by allowing the advertiser to count how many people have seen their advertisement or have seen it more than once. They might also allow the advertiser to tailor advertising to you when you visit other websites.



13.1. Please remember that posting your name, contact information or any other personal information on the Site or associated social media pages places such information in the public domain. Always use caution when giving out information. We advise that you do not reveal any information about yourself or anyone else (for example: full name, telephone number, postal address, email address, home address or any other details that allow you to be personally identified) on the Site.

(iii) use any The Barefaced Movement trademarks displayed on any The Barefaced Movement Site without permission from The Barefaced Movement;

(v) be a website that contains content that could be construed as distasteful, offensive or controversial.
15.2. The Barefaced Movement expressly reserves the right to request that any link in breach of these Terms and Conditions be removed and to take whatever other action it deems appropriate.
15.3. On the Site you may be offered automatic links to other sites. Whilst The Barefaced Movement hopes you will be interested in those other sites, you acknowledge that their owners may be independent from The Barefaced Movement and The Barefaced Movement does not endorse or accept any responsibility for their content.
15.4. Pages of the Site may contain some contextual affiliate marketing links created by third parties. Purchases made on these third party sites are the sole responsibility of that site. Purchases made through these links may result in a commission being earned by The Barefaced Movement.


16. Advertising and Sponsorship

16.1. Part of the Site may contain advertising and sponsorship. Advertisers and Sponsors are responsible for ensuring that material submitted for inclusion on the Site complies with relevant laws and codes. We will not be responsible for any error or inaccuracy in advertising and sponsorship.



17.1. These Terms and Conditions together with any additional Terms and Conditions which are drawn to your attention constitute the complete and entire agreement between the parties and supersede any prior agreement, whether written or oral.
17.2. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid by any court having competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
17.3. These Terms and Conditions are not intended to benefit or be enforceable by any third party and the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 shall not apply to these Terms and Conditions.
17.4. Failure of either party to exercise any right or remedy under these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy.
17.5. Unless otherwise specified on the Site, the content of the Site is directed solely at those who access the Site from the United Kingdom. The Barefaced Movement makes no representation that any of the content of the Site is appropriate for use elsewhere, or available in any other locations. Those who choose to access the Site from any other location are solely responsible for compliance with local laws and regulations if and to the extent that they are applicable.
17.6. You agree that these Terms and Conditions, for all purposes, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You also agree, subject to the following clause, to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts as regards any claim or matter arising under these Terms and Conditions.
17.7. For the exclusive benefit of The Barefaced Movement, The Barefaced Movement shall retain the right to bring proceedings as to the substance of the matter in the courts of the country of your residence.


18. Age Limit

18.1. You must be at least 16 years of age in order to use the Site.
18.2. We strongly recommend that if you are 16 years of age or older but not yet 18, you ask your parents for permission before using the Site.
